Why HR teams invest in AI

HR functions handle high-volume repetitive workflows (onboarding, policy questions, document collection, leave management) alongside high-stakes individual cases (compensation, performance, separation). Automation takes the repetitive volume off the team so their time goes to the cases that need human judgement. That only holds if the system ships with the right access controls and human-in-the-loop checkpoints, so we design those in from the start.

Technspire builds HR AI that respects employee privacy, satisfies works-council expectations, and stays inside the EU AI Act high-risk obligations that apply to employment-related decision support.

What we can build

Onboarding automation

Onboarding workflows that orchestrate IT provisioning, document collection, training enrolment, and first-week scheduling. Triggered by a signed offer in the ATS, integrated with Entra for account creation, and surfaced to the new hire through a single Teams or web experience.

Stack: Azure Logic Apps or Power Automate, Entra account provisioning, integration with ATS and HRIS, Microsoft Teams for hire experience.

Employee Q&A copilots

RAG-powered chatbots that answer policy questions (leave, benefits, expenses, code of conduct) grounded in approved HR documentation. Multi-language support for international workforces, citation on every answer, escalation to a human HR partner when the question is sensitive or unanswered.

Stack: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Teams integration, Application Insights for usage telemetry.

HR document processing

Automated extraction and classification of HR documents: contracts, certificates, immigration paperwork, leave requests. Validation against policy, structured handoff to the HRIS, and audit trails for compliance.

Stack: Azure Document Intelligence, Azure Functions, integration with HRIS, Azure Storage with retention policies.

Performance and review tooling

AI-assisted performance review workflows: draft generation from observed work signals, calibration support, bias detection in review language, and analytics for talent decisions. Human-in-the-loop by design. AI drafts, humans decide.

Stack: Azure OpenAI with strict prompting, Microsoft Viva integration where applicable, Power BI dashboards for talent analytics.

Built for HR's privacy and regulatory reality

HR AI in Europe operates inside GDPR, works-council consultation requirements, the EU AI Act high-risk classification for employment-related decision support, and country-specific labour law. Every workload includes data-protection impact assessment scaffolding, works-council documentation, Annex IV technical documentation for high-risk uses, and human-oversight design records.

How a typical engagement works

  1. Discovery (2–4 weeks). Process audit of current HR workflows, HRIS integration mapping, EU AI Act risk classification per use case, scoped proposal with named engineers.

  2. First vertical slice (4–8 weeks). One working slice all the way from trigger to result: one onboarding flow, one chatbot intent, or one document type. Real telemetry, real evaluation, real handover plan.

  3. Sustained delivery. Iterative expansion across HR processes, business units, and geographies. Documentation, evaluation suites, and on-call runbooks land alongside the code.
